Description

The Cardiology department at Skaraborg Hospital in Skövde includes the Cardiac Intensive Care Unit (CICU), post-cardiac care, day surgery unit, cardiology clinics, PCI and ablation lab, clinical physiology laboratory, and Device/CIED implantation services. We handle both emergency and elective care and are responsible for specialist cardiology services in Skaraborg. The department is constantly evolving!

Nurses, assistant nurses, and doctors work together in daily patient care. We have an educational unit for students that supervises our medical candidates, nursing students, and assistant nursing trainees.

We also have competence support staff who introduce new employees and provide support in daily work. Internal and external competence development is included. Here, you have the opportunity to join a competent team where you are given the chance for both professional and personal development.

Job Responsibilities

The duties consist of cardiology nursing, assisting with examinations, and participating in rounds as part of the teamwork. Our goal is to provide patients with good and safe care. The tasks are varied, and you will also have the opportunity to participate in development work at the clinic.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who are trained as an assistant nurse (undersköterska). Experience from cardiology emergency care is highly meritorious. We expect you to have a good approach to patients and a professional attitude towards patients and relatives. You are good at collaborating and adapting to the changing circumstances that an emergency care unit entails.

Great importance will be attached to personal suitability.

Other

Scheduled shifts including day, evening, night, and weekends are included.
